Racheal Colbert is an enthusiastic student at the University of Wyoming working towards her degree in English and Technical Writing. She moved to Laramie, WY three years ago from Michigan in search of a new adventure. While being raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Racheal found her love for literature at a very young age. Writing is Racheal’s passion and she searches for opportunities that allow her to grow in her craft every day. She hopes to someday create a positive impact with her writing in the world.

Who was your role model growing up?
My mother was my role model when I was growing up and is still my role model today. She teaches me how to be a strong and powerful woman.
What do you like about being a part of 88 CUPS OF TEA?
I love being a part of the 88 Cups of Tea podcast team because I learn something new and exciting within each episode. The advice from the interviewees of the podcast has helped me grow as a storyteller. Working with 88 Cups of Tea is shaping me into a better writer.
Which is your favorite social media platform and why?
My favorite social media platform is Instagram because it allows you to see other people’s worlds through their lenses.
How are you a storyteller?
I am a storyteller because I enjoy sharing my experiences with the world around me with my writing. I believe that everyone can be a storyteller in their own unique way. Whether it is through art, music, or the way you interact with others, you can be a storyteller.
